Dr. Heather Dixon attended Tuloso- Midway High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University -Corpus Christi, where she received a degree in Biomedical Science. Following this, she completed a Masters in Biomedical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Dixon completed her medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas. She chose to purse training in osteopathy because she believes that the practice of medicine should start with getting to know the patient as a whole, rather than concentrating on the symptoms. Dr. Dixon completed residency training in obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo. Dr. Dixon is proud and excited to serve the community that helped her discover her dream of becoming an OB/ GYN and she looks forward to many years educating and caring for women in the Corpus Christi area.
