Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on our premises. This policy applies to all individuals, including patients and visitors, and extends to all areas of our offices.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a secure and peaceful environment free from the risks associated with weapons.
Policy Details
Prohibited Items: This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, firearms, knives, bladed instruments, explosives, and any other item that could be used to inflict harm.
Consequences of Non-Compliance: Any individual found to be in possession of a weapon on our premises will be asked to immediately remove the weapon from the property. Failure to comply with this request may result in:
Denial of service.
Being asked to leave the premises.
Contacting law enforcement.
For patients, this may also result in the termination of the patient-provider relationship.
Law Enforcement and Authorized Personnel: This policy does not apply to authorized law enforcement officers or other security personnel who are on duty and acting within the scope of their official duties.
Reporting Concerns: If you observe an individual with a weapon or have concerns about a potential threat, please immediately notify a member of our staff.
